Eating out

Thanks for the post from Keith about eating out in response to Elizabeth's blog.  Eating out when you have Coeliac Disease or a Food Allergy or Food Intolerance can be tricky, with not many options available.  Coeliac UK ran a campaign this year about this issue and have some useful information on their website.

Although things are looking up in Bournemouth where the Best Western Connaught Hotel has just developed a new gluten free menu especially for those with coeliac disease.

Has anyone else got any hints or tips they would like to share?

I've just come back from Modena Italy and I met members from the italian coeliac society. They were very helpful and actually gave me a directory of all the places to eat gluten free, even pizza! (only sorry this was day before I was due to return home) it even included service stations and little chefs. I would urge anyone travelling abroad to get in touch will the local society and see what is out there-Happy eating
