Nutrition Point is strengthening its commitment to Free From consumers by bringing out two new bagged snacks, Trufree Mini O’s and Trufree Pretzels.
The Mini O’s and Pretzels are being launched under the Nutrition Point brand, Trufree, as a tasty snack choice for those who follow a special diet of gluten and wheat free foods.
Under a similar guise to Oreo style biscuits, the Mini O’s have an irresistible creamy vanilla filling sandwiched between bite sized crunchy chocolate biscuits. Similarly, the lightly salted pretzels are a perfect bite-sized lunchbox snack.
Both Trufree Pretzels and Trufree Mini O’s will be available in Tesco stores from August and look set to fill the hole in the Free From snack market.
Fiona Molloy, national account manager at Nutrition Point said: “As a Free From supplier, we recognise that we must monitor the mainstream market in order to identify Free From trends. Bagged snacks experienced excellent growth last year and we felt this was an underdeveloped category within Free From.
“Having carried out extensive market research we recognised there was a real opportunity. Free From consumers lacked any real kind of ‘convenience’ within their shopping experience. They expect the same choice and quality as any other consumer. We understand this and believe our products offer great value, choice and taste.”
