This month I was asked by the Trufree team to test some of the
new pudding club recipes. As you are all probably aware by now I have a real sweet tooth so it was a request that I just couldn’t refuse!
Cheesecake has always been my favourite dessert and I’ve even tried making my own
wheat-free version in the past so I started with the recipe for
White Chocolate and Mini O's Cheesecake.
The recipe was actually really simple to follow and I had the added satisfaction of crushing the biscuits – perfect when you’ve had a long day at work! I would recommend making it the night before you want to eat it to make sure it is thoroughly set as mine was still a bit wobbly. It’s definitely worth the wait though – delicious!
Another favourite of mine was the individual
Tiramisu's. I’ve always been a big fan of the Trufree
Brownie Bites and I was having people over for dinner so thought it a perfect opportunity to wow them with my new-found culinary prowess. The recipe was simple and quick, meaning I could just throw the ingredients together and pop the tiramisus in the fridge. Everyone was suitably impressed and the individual servings were perfect for my gannet friends who usually eat everything up before I’ve even sat down.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of the recipes and what you thought. Next stop for me is going to be the
Apple Tart because I’m supposed to be giving up chocolate for lent. I’ll let you know how I get on!
