We have been advised by our supplier that a number of
Trufree Choc Dippers have been contaminated with traces of peanuts.
The product already contains hazelnuts, which is stated clearly on the packaging.
As a result of finding traces of peanut within the product we have decided to recall all Trufree Choc Dippers (52g) with the following sell by dates:
- 12/12/09
- 13/12/09
- 16/01/10
- 17/02/10
- 03/04/10
- 17/06/10
- 26/06/10
- 28/06/10
- 07/07/10
Consumers are advised to dispose of or return affected product. This recall is designed to protect consumers who may have a peanut allergy. The product is still wheat and gluten free.
Affected products have also been immediately withdrawn from supermarkets and stores (Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose, Holland and Barrett, The Health Stores and Goodness Foods). We are in the process of replacing the contaminated stock.
In addition, Trufree has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members.
